new project

This is a rough sketch of a painting I'm going to start working on. Chances are it will turn out completely different than I had planned, something I'm used to. I guess my hands just paint what they want, and my brain is left wondering.

Broken Lens

Due to the wreck my camera lens is broken. Now that I dont have that creative outlet the ideas are flowing. Do you think this is just mental? Im going to have to do something since Im not working right now. So I guess I will focus on my other "talent".

love babies

It seems that everyone is having a baby. I can name 5 people I know who have had a baby recently... and atleast 3 more who are going to be haveing babies very soon. How exciting! I love babies, AND I love taking pictures of babies.

This should keep me busy in the months to come. All I have to do is convince them they absolutely must have baby pictures. .. like this picture.

Hadison (the baby) would smile for the whole shoot. It was a battle... a very fluffy battle, with different frilly outfits that Kandace (the mom) wanted to try. Hats, lacy bottoms, soft blankets. It was still a battle.

I finally got a smile when I had Kandace go in for a kiss and snapped this picture.

I decided to try out some night sky photos.

I want to get a remote shutter release for my Nikon D80.

That way I could leave the shutter open for extended periods
of time. I would like to see how the pictures would turn out.

The Open Seas

Down the road from my Mamaw and Papaw's house there is a pond. Actually I don't even think it has always been there, just water collected from a heavy rain. Either way, there is a sail boat in this pond.

With any amount of imagination you might find yourself on your way to anywhere.
